Broken Social Scene Presents: Brendan Canning - Churches Under the Stairs
This is a group I just heard of, somewhat randomnly from one of the sweetest starbucks baristas I know. I mentioned that I had been to Seattle to see Minus the Bear while ordering the same drink I do everyday - grande 1 pump hazelnut latte - and she told me to check these guys out while making it. I took a sip and said I would. I have been very impressed so far and these guys will be one of my favorite groups for a long time to come. Also, they have a show in the city I love coming up in February, which I will be attending for all those interested in joining. They are a super group of like 20 fuckin’ canadians, so it should be a wild show.
